Content reports and contact for authorities
Last updated: September 6, 2026
This page explains how to tell FeedSink about unlawful or inappropriate content, how quickly we respond, what we do when a report arrives and what happens to the material. Authorities will find where to write in section 6.
Address for reports and for official requests from authorities: abuso@feedsink.com
1. What to report here
Use this channel to tell us about content displayed by FeedSink that is unlawful or inappropriate: an article on a shared page (addresses starting with feedsink.com/s/), a source in the catalogue, a result in monitoring or global search. In particular: child sexual abuse or exploitation material, threats, incitement to violence, scams and fraud.
Two kinds of request have their own path. A copyright holder who wants their article out of FeedSink: see the content removal page. A request about your own personal data (access, correction, erasure): see the privacy policy.
2. How to report
Write to abuso@feedsink.com. You do not need an account. If the content is on a shared page, the "Report this content" button at the foot of that page sends the same report to the same queue, with no e-mail needed.
What to send: the address of the page on FeedSink (copy it from the browser bar); what is on it and why you believe it breaks the law or the Terms of Use; and, if you want a reply, an e-mail address. Contact details are optional: the report may be anonymous.
Do not attach a copy of the material, especially when it is an abuse image: the address is enough for us to locate it, and forwarding a copy is itself an act the law punishes.
3. How quickly we respond
Report of a serious crime — child sexual exploitation, threat to life, terrorism: immediate action once we become aware. We remove first and review afterwards.
Report about content from a public source — catalogue, monitoring, global search or a shared page: first review within 48 hours.
Request from a publisher about its own article — copyright or a sharing block: reply within 5 business days.
Court order or official request from an authority: we acknowledge receipt on the same business day and comply within the deadline in the document.
4. What we do when a report arrives
We record the entry: date, time, who sent it and what it asks. We locate the content by the address given. If the report does not allow us to locate it, we reply asking for the missing detail, without speculating.
We act at the appropriate level: withdraw from the recommendation screens, block the source or, for unlawful content, remove it permanently from the whole platform and ban the source (Terms of Use, clause 8). Nothing is removed without a record of the act.
We reply to the person who asked, when they left contact details, saying what was done and when. We record the outcome alongside the entry: that record is what proves the procedure.
We do not disclose user data to the person reporting, nor to someone who says they are the victim. Whoever has a right to the data also has the legal path to request it (section 6).
5. What happens to the material
Unlawful content is removed permanently, with no copy. Of what was removed we keep only the administrative record of the act: what was taken down, when and on what grounds.
Where a competent authority requires the preservation of content or records, the material is held in a separate environment and under confidentiality, for the period required, and is not disclosed to third parties without the judicial authorisation required by law (Terms of Use, clause 12).
We do not carry out active or general monitoring of the private content of accounts. We act on what is brought to our attention.
6. Authorities: official requests and court orders
Police authorities, prosecutors and courts write to the same address, abuso@feedsink.com, stating the case number and what is requested: identification of an account, preservation, removal or disclosure of records. We acknowledge receipt on the same business day. A paper request may be scanned and sent to the same address; the company seat is stated in the Terms of Use (clause 16).
There is a written internal procedure for these requests: recording the entry, locating the account or the content, preservation before any removal, execution within the deadline in the document, reply and recording of the outcome. Application access logs are kept for six (6) months, under confidentiality, as required by article 15 of Brazilian Law no. 12,965/2014 (Marco Civil da Internet).
User data is disclosed only to a competent authority, with the legal grounds required. A request without those grounds receives a reply indicating the appropriate path.
